I meant to do this yesterday, but it's better late than never.
The scene in Haiti is bad. If you haven't already donated money to the relief I highly recommend that you do. If everyone in US donates $10 that would equate to $3 BILLION in funds to help the people of Haiti. $10 is nothing.
There are many ways that you can do this:
You can donate $10 to Haiti relief by texting “Haiti” to 90999. (This has already raised over 8 million!!!)
Go to the Red Cross website and donate there (You can specify it for Haiti Relief)
I could list a whole bunch more but Seattle Times has already done that for me here.
Just be careful to avoid any kind of scam. It's unfortunate that when these kinds of things happen scams run rampant. Make sure that you're donating to a reputable organization that is going to use it to the best of their ability.
I completely support and agree with the President when he said, "To the people of Haiti, we say clearly, and with conviction, you will not be forsaken; you will not be forgotten. In this, your hour of greatest need, America stands with you."
