Oh Apple. So it isn't that your new phone is a piece of shit, its more that you've been lying to your customers for all there years by falsifying signal strength. That's just great. A word to the wise: Buy Android. I've been VERY satisfied with my phone. Yeah there aren't as many apps (yet) but their catching up. I'm also a huge fan of the fact that if I ever lose my phone I won't lose all my contacts because it's tied directly to my google account, the very same account I use to operate this blog. WORLD CUP!!! YAAAAAY!!!! I've got to throw my support behind Ghana if for no other reason that we can say we were beaten by the best. However I think there is a very real possibility that by the end of the weekend we'll be left with only South American teams. That being said I'm going to pick Ghana, Brazil, Spain and Argentina. We'll see if I'm right...

Well now that we all know what this is about I'll get back to it...

The Google is reppin' a bar code today. I like it. I think that the increased number of "special" google headers is a good thing. It's still simple, but they're also able to honor different events and people. "A for effort and a B for delivery"...

I really need to do some laundry. I haven't since I moved and I'm almost out of clothes. I'm down to wearing underpants that aren't my favorite. Hopefully I make it through the day without too much unpleasantness. But I assure you the firs thing I'm doing when I get home is laundry, then video games, then more laundry, then I'll probably eat something, then a whole lot more video games, how about a little Simpsons Season 3, then some more laundry, then I'll sleep. This information may seem meaningless now, but later on you'll be glad to have received it...

Cloud Atlas!!! I'm thoroughly enjoying this book. About half way through and it's amazing. I HIGHLY recommend it to all of you. I can't believe that it sat on my bookshelf for 18 months before I gave it a chance...

I had a dream last night that I lived in a tree. There wasn't a treehouse or anything, I just lived in a tree. Birds and squirrels were my friends. I distinctly remember looking over the edge of one of the massive branches and realizing how high up I was. The altitude cause a sort of vertigo and the ground seemed to spin like a hypnotic wheel. I quickly laid on the branch and held on as tightly as I could. That's all I remember...

Fall is here. It's glorious. When I control the weather it will be like this everyday. Unless you're somewhere that's pissing me off. Then I'd send all kinds of nonsense your way. Lately when I search for things on Google I've been getting the response "no search results found". Mind you this will only occur if you place something in quotes during the search. It's most common when searching for quoted items in google images. Maybe Google is slipping...or maybe Google really is God. Lately they both treat me the same.

It's not my fault!

I started off this morning by being ripped apart by a customer because someone else lied to him. I understand that he bought the shit from me, but it wasn't me that lied to him it was the damn factory. IT'S NOT MY FAULT!!!!...

Okay well now things to be calming down here at work so I can get back to bloggin'...

I'm about to start cloning my enormous Roma tomato plant. If anyone is interested in getting a clone hit me up. I have a feeling there will be plenty of them...

I went to the T-Mobile store last night. I've now decided that I need to get a G1 phone. Hopefully I'll get one for my birthday. Then I could do this anywhere without having to deal with predictive text on my blackberry. That would make me the happiest boy in all land...

I have no idea what I'm doing this weekend, but I feel like i have a lot of plans. I know that I've got to get to gettin' on the brewin. And there is a thing on Saturday night at Kink Street that I really want to attend. Hopefully I'm not forgetting anything. The world is coming to an end!!!

The skies are bleeding and the ground shakes. The world has come to a standstill and everyone is flooding into the streets in panic. Volcanic eruptions are imminent. We must all join together and stand tall as the giant eagles fly overhead heralding the end of days...

Okay, so the world isn't ending anymore. Which is why I'm able to write this blog. For some reason this morning all Google related websites were down. Youtube, blogger, analytic, search, everything. I was starting to freak out. What would we do in a world without Google? Personally I don't want to live in a world where I'm reduced to Yahoo as a search engine...

I hate getting coffee at work. Not because its bad coffee, but its not great. It's because every morning I go to get a cup there is only about 1/3 of an inch left in the pot. So I'll make a whole new pot and then by the time I get back in there to fill my cup I'm back to square one with a small puddle left in the pot. People around here need to learn to make a pot of coffee and not just pass the buck to the next person...

Quick update on Lucile Street activities...

Chili Cook Off is rapidly approaching. This weekend I'm going to be sending out information about how to register your chili. I really hope to see all of you there stuffing your faces with chili. EAT MORE CHILI!!!!...

I have to brew like crazy this weekend. I need to get 10 gals of IPA and 10 gals of porter done. I didn't do any last weekend, which I now regret. But I work well under pressure. Everything will be ready for the cook off...

Got a call from the city about Lucile Street Summer Fest. It was just a preliminary thing, but I'm optimistic that we'll be about to get the street permit. I will be using the Cook Off as a spring board for Summer Fest stuff. We'll be calling on people to chair different committee's and also starting to rally bands to perform. If you know any musicians or other acts (I'm pretty open) let me know and I'll contact them...

I think therefore I blog

My desk is extremely clean, but still cluttered. I have binders that are falling over, someone must have stolen one, and post it notes all over the place. They read things like: Bloody bus blog, Bhangra!, one is a drawing of a superhero, who's more like a nerd in a speedo with a cape. I have no idea where that one came from...

A coworker of mine recommended that I watch Deliverance. He even lent it to me, so I watched it. I have no idea what to think of that. Decent movie. But definitely caught me off guard...

I'm now an official member of The Church of Google. I've been a follower for a long time. I guess I didn't realize that there were others like me. I'm not sure how this is going to effect my position within the Church of Bacon, but the way I see it Bacon and Google should be able to coexist within the same pantheon...

I think that my sister should get a goat. She doesn't think so. She's actually very much against the idea. The strange thing here is that her husband agrees with me. And for any of you who know my brother-in-law, you'll agree it's strange that we'd agree on anything. So I have to ask, if two people with completely opposite ideologies can agree about the goat can it really be a bad idea?...

...There was supposed to be a wind storm last night. Walter Kelly lied to me. I'm not very happy with him...

...Last night for dinner Mr. Sharp made an amazing curry. It had butternut squash, garbanzo beans and spinach. I can still taste it. And I'll be tasting it even more when I get home. There are tons of left overs...

...Google is quickly becoming Big Brother. I love Google and all, but they're becoming a little creepy. Now they are tracking out breaks of influenza through search terms. On top of that for anyone who hasn't looked at Google Maps recently you should. They now have a feature called "Street View" which gives you a 360 degree view of your desired location. It doesn't cover everything but they did get my house and if you look at it from the alley you can see Jeremy and I in the back yard. Creepy...

...I can't wait for tomorrow. I'm meeting up with Nathan and we're going to hit up some Buck Hunter. I think that I may be developing a problem...
