Top Five Albums of 2010

Sorry this is a little behind schedule, but that's just how it is. I'm not doing 10, I'm only doing 5. I'm also not going to explain myself. I've been working on this for too long and can't seem to find the words. This frustration led me to decide to just post the list and move on. I'm done with 2010. A bunch of these I've already given my two cents on as well and went through and hyper linked to the previous posts. And without further ado...

Honorable Mentions

Gil Scott-Heron - I'm New Here
The Black Keys - Brothers
Eminem - Recovery
Kid Cudi - Man on the Moon Part II: The Legend of the Rager
Arcade Fire - Suburbs

#5 of Montreal - False Priest

#1 Deerhunter - Halcyon Digest

Good bye 2010. You were good. You were bad. But mostly you just were.

It's time to cut a rug and throw the deuce up in the sky

Y'all should read this. It's pretty much what I was talking about earlier this week...

Last night I was in Vegas again. I should point out that I forgot to remove the nicotine patch, which produces the most lucid dreams I've ever had. I really wanted to take a shower but people kept stealing my towel. I searched everywhere for it. When I finally got it back I found that none of the hotels had showers anymore and instead there was a long line of them all together. Then I had to get quarters for the hot water. No one would change my chips for quarters. Once I finally got everything I needed I got into the shower. Then I was back at home. I never got to clean myself so I went to do that but there wasn't any hot water. I went to check the tank to find it was missing entirely. I was irate. Who had been in my apartment without my knowledge!? Then I woke up to the faint smell of smoke and the sound of sirens. There was a fire on my block...

Gorillaz are going to be touring North America in October!!!! I hope that they make it to the PNW....

Kosovo has been ruled a "legitimate" country. This is actually great news for any region aspiring for independent rule. Hopefully this will one day be used as precedence for Cascadian independence. Hopefully...

I don't pull me down

I've had a couple people make mention of my gtalk status. Hopefully this will clear somethings up for those of you who didn't already know...

Smells like maple syrup

Ugh, I'm not ready for today, hence the early morning post. It helps me to avoid reality...

My neck is all fucked up. Yesterday the left side was sore. Thought I slept on it wrong. Today the right side is sore. I think I'm dying. If my head snaps off from the rest of my body don't be surprised. Just do me a favor and find some super glue to reattach it...

I'm stuck on the Plastic Beach. Can't get enough of it. It's just so damn good...

PMRob got rabies at the Blue Moon last night. I think that you all should take extreme caution if you're going there. Don't trust any dogs, no matter how friendly they might seem. You'll get the "ichy bump"...

I caught an earlier bus to work this morning. Whenever I do there is a certain man on the bus. He's very memorable because he is always wearing aquasocks with individual toes. You know those weird shoes you wear in a pool. I'm very interested by this. I want to know more, but I just can't bring myself to be like, "Hey dude, what's with the socks. You a merman of sorts?"...

It's a beautiful day in Seattle. 46 degrees with a drizzle. I woke up in a great mood and I think it's because of the rain. So far this winter we haven't seemed to have much rain. I think it's because when it's been raining its just been pouring buckets and then nothing for days. I prefer a light misting over months. Hopefully that's how our spring will turn out...

I guess that's all for now...

WAIT!!! I should mention that this weeks episode of LOST was amazing. Now that's everything...

NPR is streaming the new Gorillaz album in it's entirety. I've just started listening to it, so I can't give you a review yet. But I thought I should share it ASAP.
