I got a clean water science test kit for Christmas. Last night we tested it out. Got some Sodo sludge and put it through the process. It's actually worked! Now it says not to drink the water, and you don't have to tell me twice. Who know's what kinds of parasites are living in there. However it did get out all the mud.

"Blood Libel"? Seriously? Last time I checked no one accused Palin of sacrificing Christians to make matzos. Or maybe that's exactly what is going on and she's the only one aware of it. It's probably that she just has no idea the historical context of the words that she's using and instead of extinguishing a potential problem for her presidential candidacy she just soaked the whole thing in gasoline. I've spent the last week listening to a Rhianna station on Pandora. It has led me to an appreciation for Lady Gaga. She's not as horrible as I once thought. Oh yeah, and I'd eat the meat after she wore it. What of it?...

Sometimes it's hard to come up with a title.

If someone wants to build a Mosque near Ground Zero I say let em! By fighting it we're just exposing the hypocritical positions in our country. To me nothing would show that the true values of America are alive and well as a new Mosque in lower Manhattan. After all it's one of the purest representations of the freedoms of speech, religion and peaceful assembly. We're not talking about a terrorist training facility here, it's a place for the community to come together. Just because you may not be a part of that community doesn't mean we can take that away from them. By clinging to narrow minded views and ideals of hate we're no better than all the other fanatics our there. As for Palin, I can't think of anyone in this country who is doing more to destroy our values while claiming to hold them in the highest regard. At times it's just painful to watch. Other times it's just funny...

Pops posted the pictures he took from the Mt Rainier trip. I'm not sure why but I kinda like this one. I don't look very happy. I think it's because my skin was burning more and more by the second:

I broke one of the most important rules. I didn't eat lunch or dinner on Saturday. Instead I just imbibed my way through the day. That never ends well. I woke up covered in black marker. Jubilee Days was awesome though...

The practice of aerially hunting wildlife is horrific. And anyone who participates in, advocates or even silently supports such an act is a monster.

Instead of, or perhaps in addition to, forwarding emails to like-minded friends about how horrible Sarah Palin is as a choice for VP, or leader of anything, why not put your gall to some use, and make a donation to Planned Parenthood, in Sarah Palin's name?

The best part is, when you make a donation to PP in her name, they'll send her a card telling her that the donation has been made in her honor.
